Frank and Abigail Santos
Co-Founders
Born and raised in this moku, Frank has dedicated his retirement to restoring the landscape he has cared for his entire life. Together, Frank and Abigail have built decades of community trust, business leadership, and stewardship that form the foundation of Hui Ulu Haha Loa's work. Over the years, they have received multiple community honors reflecting a lifetime of dedication to both people and place.

Daughter of Frank and Abigail, Kuʻulei brings extensive operational and administrative experience as co-owner of one of Hawaiʻi's largest construction firms, a company ranked among the top construction businesses in the state. Her background provides critical capacity in project management, budgeting, staffing, and grant administration, positioning the nonprofit for sustainable, long-term impact.
